ABB TZIDC-200 Explosion Positioner in an Explosion-proof Housing

TZIDC-200 Explosion Proof Intelligent PositionerABB Series of TZIDC-200 is meant for use in areas where explosion-proof enclosures are required. It includes the same features as the TZIDC Intelligent Positioners and includes the high accuracy, adaptable control functions and easy commissioning using the auto stroke functions, that the TZIDC has.

The TZIDC-200 series has three models:

TZIDC-200 ( V18348 ) Standard performance, flameproof enclosure, with 4 to 20 mA with HART communication

TZIDC-210 ( V18349 ) Standard performance, flameproof enclosure, with PROFIBUS PA communicationStandard performance, flameproof enclosure, with PROFIBUS PA communication

TZIDC-220 ( V18350) Standard performance, flameproof enclosure, with FOUNDATION Fieldbus communication

Like the TZIDC the TZIDC-200 is best suited for mounting on rotary actuators using standard Namur mounting hardware, but can also be used for linear valves. Options include a gauge block, and analog/digital feed back. The standard model comes with HART communication and Profibus and Fieldbus is also available. The TZIDC-200 can be set up for single and double acting actuators and fail safe (open or close)  or fail freeze (hold last position)

The TZIDC-200 can be used in hazardous area without intrinsically barriers and FM/CSA and ATEX approvals are available. The TZIDC positioner in an hazardous enclosure is suitable for FM / CSA Class 1, Div. 1, Group C-D (explosion-proof), ATEX Ex II 2 G EEx d IIC T4, T5, T6 and others
