This
electronic transmitter is a low energy, high-output-load device that gives
local analog flow read out on a six-inch scale as well as a linear 4-20 mA
signal proportional to the flow rate.
For stand-by
operation, the transmitter can easily be connected to operate from a
battery option. The transmitter is housed in a NEMA 4 enclosure with a
plastic window; a glass window is also available as an accessory.
In NEMA
4 general purpose enclosure the transmitter is Factory Mutual approved as
intrinsically safe for Class I, Division I, Group A, B, C, and D hazardous
locations and dust-ignition proof for Class II, Division I and II, Group
E, F and G areas.
There is also
an FM approved explosion-proof arrangement available for Class I locations
and dust ignition proof for Class II areas.
